The Trailer For IT Chapter 2 Is Here And I Am Ready To Never Sleep Again
OH MAN OH MAN OH MAN.
It’s been almost two years since the first installment of Stephen King’s IT reboot hit theaters and reignited everyone’s childhood fear of clowns (especially mine — seriously, fuck clowns), and earlier today we finally got a look at the long-awaited chapter two.
AND IT. LOOKS. SO. FREAKIN. GOOOOOD.
The second movie takes place 27 years after the first — and as we know from the first movie, Pennywise resurfaces every 27 years to drag more children down into the sewer where they’ll float. So obviously, this reunion of the now grown up Losers Club isn’t going to be a big chummy celebration for the childhood pals. They’ve got a clown to deal with.
Watch the trailer now while it’s still daytime and there’s still plenty of light in your house, because it’s insanely scary.
I’m a big fan of horror and it takes quite a lot to freak me out, but I’m not afraid to admit that I had to immediately find some funny tweets in order to make myself feel better after watching this. And I’m probably gonna sleep with a light on tonight.
I really think “IT: Chapter 2” should’ve been called “IIT”
