Taco Bell Is Opening A Hotel This Summer, Because Reasons

It’s almost June which means it’s time to start planning summer vacations! Taking time off work and shelling out money at resorts or theme parks is no small thing, though, so you wanna make sure you use your time and dollar wisely. You could go on a road trip and check out a national park, but who even likes trees and the splendor of the natural world? Nerds, probably. You could go somewhere along the coast and hang out at the beach, but walking on sand is probably the most frustrating thing in the world (WHY IS IT SO HARD) and you don’t want to spend your time off being angry and bad at walking. There are a lot of options, but you deserve a truly special getaway.

And what could be more special than staying at a fastfood chain-run hotel?

Yep — this summer, Taco Bell is taking over a hotel and resort in Palm Springs.

If you’ve ever been in the back of an Uber at a Taco Bell drive-thru window at 2am and thought to yourself, “man I wish I could live this all the time,” then ‘The Bell’ is definitely the place for you. It’s for people 18+ only, because I guess children just can’t handle all those gorditas.

Along with “exclusive menu items” there will also be a Taco Bell salon and “plenty of surprises” — which are hopefully nothing like the surprise you get the morning after a drunk Taco Bell binge.

The resort isn’t open until August but you can make your reservation as early as June, and you definitely should. If not for the vacation itself, do it just so that you can say you actually stayed at a Taco Bell resort.
