Someone Photoshopped, Uh, Giant Slugs Into Pictures Of Guitar Solos
There’s nothing quite like getting to see a band live in concert. Listening to and falling love with a certain song or album is one thing, but the added element of actually seeing how the artist responsible for the music performs — their movements on stage, little tweaks they make that are different from the studio versions of their tracks, you get to see how they experience their own work and how it makes them feel. It’s pretty special. And, naturally, the more into the performance the musicians are, the more you’ll see it on their face. Listen, if someone is shredding a sick guitar solo there’s no way they’re not gonna make some pretty wild faces.
BUT THAT’S ROCK AND ROLL, MAN! THEY’RE GIVIN’ IT ALL THEY GOT!
Depending on when the photographer snaps a picture and depending on how intense the song is, sometimes artists end up looking deeply horrified or straight up pained in photos from their shows. And one Photoshop-savvy dude thought that those kinds of distressed facial expressions made sense when applied a different, entirely unrelated, highly specific scenario.
The faces that musicians make when they’re in the middle of an intense guitar solo also work if you replace their instruments with, uhh, giant slugs.
AND….. I MEAN….. HE’S NOT WRONG.
I’ll never be able to see a live concert the same way and there’s a chance I’m going to have nightmares about giant slugs tonight but still, he has a point. These are literally perfect.
Oh god oh god oh god oh god
aaaaaAAHHHHHHHH
Good luck enjoying guitar solos now.
