Drawing, like any skill, takes a lot of practice and discipline in order to really become good at, and it’s not for everybody. You can’t just pick up a pencil one day and expect to be a master right off the bat, but thanks to the internet there’s an almost unlimited wealth of tutorials to help you get started. Hands are known for being the most difficult part of the body to draw on account of the curves and complex ways in which our fingers can move and bend, but this quick little tutorial video makes it look… well… pretty damn simple, right?

You’d think so, but no.

After this 15-second long clip went viral, everyone who had a pencil within arms reach gave it a shot. And let’s just say, not everybody is an artist.
