In The Can with Shakey Graves

Recently we were lucky to get a chance to hang with Austin, Texas’ very own folk rock band, Shakey Graves. We’ve been huge fans of this band for quite a while, so when we found out they were playing a show in LA, we asked them if they’d stop by the Funny Or Die offices and play a show for us…in our men’s bathroom.

For some reason they said yes, so we packed them in there with a toy drum set, tiny amps, and a few cameras. Of course it would have been rude of us to shut the bathroom down to people who needed to use it, so we tried to share the space respectfully.

Anyway, it smelled like shit but the music was great. We’re pretty proud of our new little concert venue and we can’t wait to host more shows there soon.

Shakey Graves will be back in Los Angeles this summer to play a big show with Lord Huron and Yola at The Hollywood Bowl, which is basically the complete opposite venue.
