This Is Why It’s Dangerous To Like Tea Too Much

Who doesn’t have chamomile? WTF.

FIELD NOTES FROM THE FUNNY OR DIE STAFF

While tea is an aromatic beverage that you get when you pour some stangin’ hot water over dried leaves or flowers (or any dried thing, really), did you know that tea can also turn you into a tea-liking monster with an appetite for destruction?

No?

NO?

THE RUMORS ARE TRUE — AND HERE’S WHY

Tea is the rabbit-hole of hot beverages. There are so many different kinds of tea. White, green, dark, pu-erh, oolong, matcha, rooibos. Then all the herbal stuff. There’s even constipation tea. There’s FREAKING LACTATION TEA. And it’s very, VERY tempting to want to get ‘em all — because they all promise so many benefits.

Black tea to cure my fatigue. Chrysanthemum tea to help with inflammation. Hibiscus mango herbal to cure my anxiety. Earl Grey to cure my anxiety. Or even oolong tea to cure my anxiety.

The point is. Tea is dangerous. So drink responsibly.
